Colorful Dinosaurs

Finished quilt is 35 by 55 inches
Colorful dinosaurs quilt is a quilt that combines a traditional block, Attic Window, with an applique picture of a dinosaur. The quilt has twelve attic windows with the same dinosaur pattern in each one. Since I used the same dinosaur throughout the quilt, I used many fabrics for the dinosaurs. MATERIALS FOR THE "COLORFUL DINOSAURS" QUILT
1 3/4 yards of white fabric You need a variety of fabrics for the dinosaurs. You can use fabric you have left from other projects or buy fat quarters or 1/4 yard of each fabric. 1/2 yard of light brown fabric for the windows 1/2 yard of medium brown fabric for the windows 1 1/2 yard of dark brown fabric for the sashing. 1 3/4 yards of dark green material for outer border and binding 2 yards of batting 2 yards of fabric for the back of the quilt piece of felt for the eyes black & white embroidery floss DIRECTIONS FOR THE APPLIQUED DINOSAURS 1. With white embroidery floss sew, French knots in the middle of the eyes. 10. Sew two French knots on the nose. (see dinosaur picture for placement.) 11. Press rectangle to get out any wrinkles 12.
