Hi! Welcome to applique quilt designs. I am a self taught quilter who has been quilting for ten years. I am mostly a hand quilter. I have done both pieced and applique quilts. I enjoy doing applique quilting more because it is more portable. Recently I was ask to make a baby quilt. When I started looking for applique patterns for baby quilts I found that there were only a few. So I decided to design my own pattern. I have since designed several quilts and have ideas for more. Hopefully my site will help other quilters looking for quilting information and free patterns.

How do you get started - what supplies do you need There are many places to get these supplies locally or on the internet. Check out my links page for a few of my favorites.



Hand applique techniques include: needle turn, freezer paper, fusible web, and applique circles.



Baby quilt designs: boat quilt, bear quilt, bug quilt, balloon quilt and dog quilt. More quilts will be added as I design and make new quilts





Quilt Block: There are numerous traditional quilt blocks. I have started with just a few of them, but will be adding to them.



Quilt Book Reviews: In Quilt Book Reviews I write a brief description of quilting books. I will be adding to these reviews on a regular basis.
